On the afternoon of October 25, the "Frontier Forum on Microbial Molecular Biology" (Qianhu Science Conference), hosted by the Ningbo University Medical School, was held at the Ningbo Academician Center on Dongqian Lake. The conference explored innovative applications of cutting-edge technologies in microbiology and phages in the field of health sciences.
Experts at national and provincial/ministerial levels, including Professors Wang Xiaoying and Wang Pengxia from South China University of Technology, Professor Gu Jingmin from Jilin University, Professor Juhee Ahn from Zhejiang University, Professor Huang Lixing from Jimei University, Researcher Feng Jie from the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and specially appointed Researcher Liu Yutao from Tianjin University, attended the conference (both online and offline) and delivered presentations.
Centering on the theme of "Frontier Forum on Microbial Molecular Biology," the participating experts engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions. Scholars shared their research findings and insights, analyzing the applications of microbial functions, microbial regulatory mechanisms, and phage development in health sciences from various perspectives. They explored how to leverage phages to enhance control of pathogens and advance medical research and drug development. Additionally, attendees discussed current technical challenges and future development trends in the field.
