On October 30, a delegation led by Chen Gang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Aksu Prefecture First People's Hospital, visited the Medical School of Ningbo University. Zhang Zhenzhu, Deputy Secretary of the Ningbo University Party Committee, met with the delegation.
During the symposium, Wang Qianyong, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Medical School Party Committee, introduced the progress and achievements made by the Medical School in areas such as Party construction, medical talent cultivation, discipline development, faculty team building, and collaborative mechanisms with directly affiliated hospitals. Subsequently, Chen Gang provided an overview of the development history and current scale of Aksu Prefecture First People's Hospital and expressed gratitude for the long-term support from the Medical School in teaching and research. During the exchange session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening medical-education-research collaboration and promoting two-way talent flow and cultivation. Both parties expressed their expectation to strengthen cooperation in broader fields and at deeper levels, jointly advancing the integration of medical care and education.
Following the symposium, Chen Gang and his delegation, accompanied by Zhang Zhenzhu, visited the University History Museum. By reviewing Ningbo University's profound educational journey, the visit provided the guests with a comprehensive understanding of the rich cultural heritage and distinctive educational characteristics of both the university and the Medical School, laying a more solid foundation for future collaboration.
Representatives from the Medical School, including the Undergraduate Education Center, Scientific Research and External Exchange Department, and Hospital Management Department, participated in hosting the delegation.
