To the Science and Education Departments or Teaching Departments of All Affiliated/Teaching Hospitals:

The Ningbo University Medical School plans to initiate the second batch of international clinical medical education training—sending clinical faculty for medical education training in Australia (please refer to the attachment for project details). The training will take place at the University of Adelaide and the University of Sydney. The duration is approximately 90 days, tentatively scheduled from late August 2025 (August 24 - November 21). Approximately 16 participants will be selected for this batch. Upon returning to China, participants must undertake full-English or bilingual teaching of clinical courses (including courses for international students and postgraduate students) for the Medical School.

Applications are invited from physicians in the following high-demand specialties: Surgery, Imaging, Laboratory Diagnostics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry, Ultrasonography, and General Practice. Clinical teaching faculty who have previously conducted English-taught undergraduate courses for the Medical School are not restricted by specialty.

Specific Selection Criteria:

1.Strong foundation in English (basic requirement).

2.Enthusiastic about teaching, highly responsible, with priority given to those with teaching experience for Ningbo University Medical School students and positive student evaluations.

3.Age under 45.

4.At least three years of clinical experience as an attending physician.

5.No record of academic misconduct, teaching incidents, or other negative records in the past five years.

Training-related expenses will be jointly covered by the respective hospitals and the Medical School. The selection process involves voluntary online applications by physicians, qualification review by the hospitals, and interviews organized by the Medical School to finalize the list of participants. The Medical School will assist with overseas procedures.

Schedule:

1.April 30 - May 14: Application (via the Medical School Information Portal System—Talent Services—Training Application, URL: //47.100.28.23/CMS/. Username is generally the full pinyin of the name, initial password: 666666. Physicians requiring account activation should contact their hospital's Science and Education Department. Select "On-campus Channel" when filling out the form.)

2.May 15 - May 26: Hospital review

3.Before June 30: Final list determined jointly by the Medical School and hospitals

4.Starting June 30: Procedures (Ningbo University will organize the group, handle task approvals, and overseas matters; meanwhile, hospitals must report to their respective Health Commission authorities for overseas reporting within the health system.)

All hospitals must ensure that all applicants are available for dispatch to avoid disruptions to the group's overseas procedures due to personnel changes. Faculty who applied and passed the hospital review in the first batch (March 2025) need not reapply.
